BIO

Kemp has been playing baseball since he was six and his love for this game has grown exponentially since. His journey has been a pretty epic one while pursuing his dream to play in the MLB one day. He is from Squamish, BC and plays for the Howe Sound Minor Baseball Association. He has also represented the North Shore Minor Baseball Association out of North Vancouver BC and also represented Richmond Minor Baseball Association as part of Team BC at the Western Provincials in 2025 where they clinched the silver medal. Kemp is currently representing Howe Sound Baseball Association as their 15UAA starting pitcher with his fastball clocking in at 79 mph and a 54 mph curveball. He also plays back catcher, shortstop and occasional third base. He is known to be one of his team’s heavy hitters with an EV of 89.

Kemp is a student first and an athlete second. He excels in his classes and takes direction with ease. He will be graduating from grade eight early so he can work on his baseball fundamentals.

Kemp loves to train with his team and at home in his backyard. His hobbies are collecting baseball cards, playing piano and watching baseball highlights of past MLB games. His favourite foods are cheese burgers, fries, egg breakfast wraps, rice, chocolate and chocolate chip cookies. He loves hanging out with his friends and family and loves cuddling with his cat Moses. He puts his Faith first in all he does.
